It was shocking for every one who had listened and watched the news from media.we pray for these innocents and their parents that may Allah bless them with passion and peace and all pleasures of life that can minimize their life loss.

 

After observing Peshawar inhuman attack what we have done for school safety and for security of students and  their teachers. Federal government not only directed to all educational institutions for installation of security camera, emergency alarm system, wire on boundary walls, barriers, speed breakers in front of gates, evacuation and lock down drill for the whole strength but also has passed orders to all provincial governments to take necessary steps for security audit of schools.

what you think?, all above said orders are how much successfully compliance by the educational staff and how much successfully checked by law and orders maintaining and implementing agencies in last one years after inhuman terrorist attack in Peshawar school?.

according to the my opinion only 40 percent compliance can be observed in schools, locating in rural areas and 10 percent in  schools, that are locating in urban areas or remote areas. Only Punjab emergency service rescue 1122 in Punjab is visiting educational institution for basic life support training, evacuation and lock down drills and for in-stallion of fire safety equipment's. we have to train and inform to every  individual who is enrolling in an educational institution that how will he behave and act during natural and unnatural incidents.

Evacuation drills; it mean to evacuate the students from class rooms, washrooms, cafe and library and assemble them  in an open space areas according to their class and strength. After assembling them in assembly area now to count their heads by the class head teacher and inform rescue services for search and rescue operation for the missing students. but sorry to say not only teachers are interesting now they have conducted a single drill in their school after getting training from the concern departments.

Basic life support training: if we trained the 60 percent of our population from school we can minimize the human loss during Peshawar type of attacks and we have to do it because we are in war.

But we have seen empty sand baskets and expire fire extinguishers that are still hanging with the fuel points and at fuel pump and agencies but to no excuses and not sorry after economic and humans loss. UK may be prosecuted over missiles used by Saudis in Yemen war, The British government is at the risk of being prosecuted for war crimes after mounting evidence has come to light that UK-made missiles, sold to the Saudi Arabia, have been used against civilian targets in Yemen, UK Foreign Office lawyers and diplomats have warned.

According to a detailed report published by The Independent on Friday, advisers to British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond expressed their concern that the sale of “specialist missiles," used during the nine months of Saudi war on Yemen, may breach international humanitarian law.

“The foreign secretary has acknowledged that some weapons supplied by the UK have been used by the Saudis in Yemen. Are our reassurances correct – that such sales are within international arms treaty rules? The answer is, sadly, not at all clear,” an unnamed senior Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) legal adviser was quoted as saying.

Another government lawyer described the Saudi war on Yemen as a “proxy war”, noting that “inside the Foreign Office a course-correction is seen as crucial.”

“There will be renewed interest in the legality of the assault in Yemen. It may not be enough for the Foreign Secretary to simply restate that we have yet to carry out any detailed evaluation [of UK arms used in the bombing of Yemen],” he added.

On Wednesday, remains of PGM-500 missiles, manufactured by the UK firm Marconi Dynamics, were found in the rubble of a factory that was targeted near the capital Sana’a in September. The factory, according to a statement released by Human Rights Watch (HRW), was only producing civilian goods.

 

David Mepham, the UK director of HRW, said that this was only the latest well-documented case of violation of the laws of war by the Saudis in Yemen and noted, "UK ministers have consistently refused to acknowledge this."

The report further likened the doubts within the FCO over the legality of the British contribution to the Saudi aggression to the debates erupted in the run-up to the Iraq war in 2003, which led to the resignation of Elizabeth Wilmshurst, an FCO deputy legal adviser, after she questioned the legality of joining the invasion of Iraq without a defined resolution from the United Nations.

  

“There are many Elizabeth Wilmshursts around here at the moment. Not all are being listened to,” said another FCO adviser, when asked by The Independent whether the UK government regarded relations with the Saudis as too important to risk by asking “awkward questions” about the bombing of Yemeni civilian localities.

During the past months Amnesty International, HRW, and some other NGOs, have said that there is no doubt that weapons supplied by the UK and the United States have hit Yemeni civilian targets.

In a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and bring back to power Riyadh’s staunch ally fugitive President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, Saudi Arabia started its military aggression against its southern neighbor on March 26 without a UN mandate.

According to Yemeni sources, the aggression has killed more than 7,500 people, while the United Nations put the death toll at 5,700, saying more than half of those killed were civilians.The UN children’s agency estimates that as many as 10 children are being killed on a daily basis, with six million people facing food insecurity.

We have observed the "Absence of entertainments for public and departmental staff"  in all regimes of so called democracy, so what the reasons are ?. while nations and departments always recognize from their cultures, norms and traditions. Neither the government is interesting in these actives nor the publics have time to conduct these entertaining and healthy activities locally in their communities.

where are horse and cattle's shows? Meratheen race, BASANT and musics show for public by district authorities and annual function of departments? which we used to enjoy during every regime of Pakistan army. Even than you can NOT watch movies in cinemas because most of the cinemas are reshaped to commercial plazas.

Minimum visits of grounds are increasing the numbers of visits in hospital.Hospital are filled with patients of depression, stress, heart, chest, abdomen and allergies etc. it all is happening due to lack of government interest in entertainment of public and departmental staff.

 

only Pakistan army and  rescue 1122 are celebrating their annul dinners and musics programmed for their staff and their employees.  we have tried to cover the event of annual dinner and performance award ceremony for best players of sports gala that has conducted 

by Punjab emergency services rescue 1122 DERA GAZI KHAN few days ago .

 

There is one more thing that we want to mention there neither the rescue 1122 have single moment of leisure nor they have departmental funds for the celebration of entertainment programmes but they do it every year.

Entertainments for these green angels is as necessary as the oxygen for patients of cardiac arrest because these are dudes who are performing daily hours of duty in seeing bloods, maintaining fractures, responding to road traffic accidents and delivering physiological first aid to patients of depression at every cost.  The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) in collaboration with City Traffic Police Lahore, Transport & Road Safety Foundation organised an awareness walk for remembrance of victims for road traffic crashes from Shama Chowk to Rescue 1122 Headquarters on Thursday.  The purpose of the event was to raise awareness about increasing number of road traffic crashes and community participation for prevention of these emergencies. The awareness walk comprising schoolchildren, teachers, traffic wardens and rescuers started from Shama Chowk, Ferozepur Road, and culminated at Rescue 1122 Headquarters.

DG Rescue Punjab Brig Dr Arshad Zia led the walk, which was participated by President Transport & Road Safety Foundation K Z Khushali, Community Safety Wing of Rescue 1122,and traffic wardens from City Traffic Police, Lahore, school children and members of civil society.The walk aimed to remember the many millions killed or injured in road crashes and their families and communities, as well as to pay tribute to the dedicated emergency services, police and medical professionals who daily deal with the traumatic aftermath of road death and injury.

Brig (r) Dr Arshad Zia presented the statistics of road traffic crashes in Punjab. According to the data, all District Emergency Services have rescued the victims of some 119, 2261 road traffic crashes in Punjab so far.“Some 3, 287 people die every day globally during road traffic crashes, while 50 people are injured annually,” he said, adding these accidents are the 9th leading cause of death.He said that Rescue 1122 is responding to average 500 road traffic accidents on daily basis, involving average 700 victims out of which 400-500 victims are seriously injured, whereas over 200-300 victims are minor injured.

Brig (r) Dr Arshad Zia said that unless proper action is taken for significant reduction of these accidents, road traffic injuries are predicted to become the 5th leading cause of death by 2030.

He said that data shows 67% injuries are due to traffic crashes; bikes are involved in 82% traffic crashes whereas 82% traffic crashes victims are aging between one to 40 years. He further stressed upon the teachers to educate students to use helmet while driving motorbikes and always ensure life safety arrangement and abide by traffic laws.
